What is yoga Nidra?
Yoga Nidra slows the wavelengths of the mind as you enter a sleep-like state . The experience will start with sensing the the body and mindful breathing to trigger the relaxation responses.
Yoga Nidra trains your mind and body for the relaxation process so you can reach a deeper state of sleep.
You can practice on your mat or in bed whichever is more comfortable to you.
A cosy space is ideal with low lighting and maybe some candles. If you have a favourite oil you can use that too or even anoint yourself with grounding scents like cedar-wood,lavender , bergamot or rosemary.
Practice will be around 30 minutes.
