A Poem created by me exploring the topic of loneliness and mental health during lockdown when Covid-19 first hit the UK.
It was a dark time for many and those around me, including myself, seemed to be going through hardship and struggle with their own thoughts and feelings.
Poem posted below.

Together or Apart
It’s come to get me, the sweet kiss of death.
It seems to be looking.
Through the streets, through the trees, between you and me.
Some have lost their loved ones but I’ve lost my life.
We need to keep going though and prevent the next spike.
We’re all a bit alone in this, I don’t know whats next.
It’s hard to cry to each other, constantly over text.
So, I’ll sit alone waiting, waiting by the phone.
Together or apart,
the world goes on alone.
