The Galana Wildlife Conservancy is one of nature’s last strongholds. A truly wild place, full of beautifully wild things that put wonder in your heart and mind. We were lucky enough to spend a few days there with the team that has dedicated itself to protecting it from the increasing threat of ‘development’. On patrol with the anti-poaching scouts and filming the process of setting camera traps to record what wildlife came through the reserve, the footage revealed leopards sitting on top of buffalo, striped hyenas, a ‘forest of elephants legs’ and a pride of 11 lions crossing a moving river! Just a snapshot of the wildlife out there that happened to stumble across our lenses.
