Verb: The action of turning on a point
For most, to pivot is to be quick on their toes, to be ready to take the next step, or prepared to adapt to change.
The partnership between Accent Group and ACRD embodies this versatile notion, and their next innovation is named accordingly.
ACRD have been quietly developing the next retail “giant”, readying it to be unleashed onto
the retail landscape. This newly created brand and store design will turn heads and alert the sporting footwear industry to a store strategy like no other.
Over the past 3 months, ACRD has been working directly with Daniel Agostinelli and the Accent retail team to create ‘Pivot’. The brief had a strong focus on establishing a new retail strategy, based around sporting and lifestyle products that challenge the market. The first inception is focused on footwear and it then, once it gathers momentum, will move into lifestyle products. As the name would suggest the brand is all about turning things upside down, pushing for a change in direction and creating a fresh way of retailing that has an exciting energy, and showcases products to new segments of customers.
ACRD has designed and developed the brand strategy, the logo, all the customer touch points and the store design and is currently working towards the first store program, expected to open well before Christmas.
Accent are clearly winning in the market with their portfolio of retail brands, and this position can only be achieved by being the incubator of retail innovation, in delivering creative concepts that showcase experiential retailing, and supplying products and services customers crave in store and online.
ACRD are very bullish about the next 12 months, working hard with all our retailers to grow new ideas and manufacture a positive spin in Australia’s world of retail.
