It’s official – the new Sigma 20mm F2 L-Mount is finally here.
Of course, this lens joins the Sigma I-Series lineup and shares a lot of the same physical characteristics as the lenses we’ve seen in this lineup.
For me, the Sigma 20mm F2 will be a great lens for vlogging and self filming, and would also be very useful for some wide angle photography as well, especially if you plan on shooting in poorly lit environments quite often.
The Panasonic 20-60 Kit lens is still a really great lens that utilises that wider 20mm focal length and now that can be had for as little as £249, it’s up to you whether some of the benefits of having a prime lens will urge you to spend £400 more.
The Sigma 20mm F2 is lovely to use on the Panasonic S5 and is very lightweight and compact, so this pair for vlogging and general walk about BTS filming was a joy to use.
