Video of the new Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020. Flying in Robin DR400/ 100 Cadet over Cape Town, the Cape Peninsula and the Cape Winelands in the vicinity of Stellenbosch and Franschhoek.

MY COMPUTER SPECS
Intel i7- 8750H
NVIDIA GeForce GTX1060
16 GB RAM
6 GB VRAM
20 Mbps internet download speed
Settings on high-end

AREAS REQUIRING ATTENTION
Mentioned in the previous video –
1. No seasonal textures
2. No waves breaking on the shore
3. No replay function
4. Basic airports recognisable but lots of room for developers to create custom made airports
5. Liveries for default aircraft

Specific to this video –
1. Had some textures especially of mountainous areas loading slow – could have been made internet connection.
2. Roads on steep mountain passes not realistic and hang to the side of the mountain (for example at Chapmans Peak).
3. Boats in harbours (for example Simon’s Town) not modelled by AI and therefore only shows up as a shadow below water surface.
4. Cape Town Airport not handcrafted and therefore basic however it resembles the airport to a large extent. Hand made version of FACT available in the deluxe version of the flight simulator.

Overall enjoyable experience with reasonable frame rates. Keep in mind that frame rates will also be +/- 5fps slower than normal because I was recording the flight with Nividia Geforce Experience.
