9/8/2020 – Traditionally, yoga is called “hatha” yoga, which means “to strike”, or “force” and refers to the striking at ignorance of mind and dullness of body. All yoga texts refer to the co-participating required of a yogin in this thing called transformation. No one ever said yoga would be easy to practice, even if the results can be a sense of greater ease!

This class is a deep dive into the hips and legs, leading to parivritta janu sirsasana and twisted forward folding. Super deep. Super fun getting there.

Definitely have a strap, 2 blocks, a blanket, and access to a wall.
