Jasmine, a 25-yrs-old beautiful independent woman, who is raised by a single mother, Kong Eve, comes to know of her father’s illness and musters the courage to visit his house for the first time. Despite being forbidden by her mother, Jasmine goes there and meets her half-brother, Vashidi. Jasmine overcomes stiff resistance and gets to know details about her father from Vashidi.

A month later, on receiving the sad news of her father’s death, Jasmine calls Vashidi but is met with disdain. On the other hand, Vashidi relates about Jasmine to his close friend Kunal. Vashidi, on Kunal’s advice, reconnects with Jasmine. As time goes by, Kunal helps Vashidi and Jasmine become close to each other. One night, as all three get back from a party, Jasmine and Kunal, overcome by drunkenness, get intimate at Vashidi’s house. A few weeks later, on realizing that she is pregnant, Jasmine calls Kunal only to find out that he is married, which leaves her devastated. Jasmine has seen all the hardships of single motherhood. She knows the stigmas associated with being an abandoned child. Now, she is paying the price for being too casual and naïve in her attitude – a mistake her mother committed 26 years back. Jasmine writes an emotional letter to her mother and leaves home in a quandary state of mind.

Should she have the baby? Life comes full circle after all!
