American News Media’s Bias & Polarisation Split Wide Open, Why Media Is Stooping To New Lows

An analytical video of the American media and the rampant bias and polarization it propagates. Fox News Media and its top-rated host, Tucker Carlson, have decided to part ways. This development came less than a week after Fox Corp, the parent company, settled a defamation lawsuit for a staggering $787.5 million, where Carlson played a significant role.

The direct result of Carlson’s departure was that Fox News announced the news on Monday and following this development, the company’s shares fell by almost 3 percent and the company suffered an estimated loss of over 500 million dollars. The rise of political polarization has significantly contributed to the divide in television media. News channels and talk shows often cater to specific political ideologies, leading to the creation of “echo chambers” where viewers are exposed primarily to information and perspectives that confirm their pre-existing beliefs.
