“When I first came to Australia, what was interesting was the idea of the quarter acre block. That has been a generational expectation.

In today’s standard, the cost of living has gone up so much so I’m seeing a paradigm shift, they are starting to adjust their lifestyle. People start to question, it’s not about having more and more, but what they really need and desire. I think that psychological move is something that we, as architects and innovators, can actually help them in understanding how can we create more socially connected spaces.

The power of the share economy allows us to think about, maybe the idea of the quarter acre block exists in the mind of a community. That, from a design point of view, is fascinating. It’s about, how do we design an ecosystem of a share economy where the people interact with each other.

Here at A+ Design Group, we’re re-imagining the quarter acre block to achieve the new Australian dream.” – Tony Leung | Thought Leadership | Architect of Magic Moments #aplusdesigngroup #TonyLeung #architect #KarenChow #MikeWatson #Sydney
